Parents/Carers and Toddlers Group

 

This group meets every Friday (including School Holidays) at 10am-12 noon.  It is open to Parents/Carers with their bumps, babies and toddlers. The cost is just £1.00 per family per session.

We offer free refreshments & every week we have a planned craft which is also free.  The crafts have included making windmills, mother & father’s day gifts, painted egg cup for Easter, growing cress and lots more!  When the weather is nice, we have a small fenced garden to play in with sand, slides, tents and tunnels and bikes/push alongs.  We finish the session with a Story and Song Time.

We also go out on trips.  Our last one was to Old MacDonald’s Farm which was very successful and a fun time was had by all.  We are planning a trip to the Towngate Theatre to see Cinderella in December. 

It’s a great opportunity to meet other Parents and Carers in the area, have a chat & get to know each other.
