Girls' Brigade is a Christian organisation for girls aged 4-16 years
Our evening consists of Games, Skipping, Craft, Bible Stories, Singing, Badgework and lots of FUN!
It's a great opportuntity to make new friends, have fun, find out about God, gain awards and learn new skills and at only £1.00 a week.
The Girls Brigade took part the BTGiant Sleepover this year in aid of Save the Children and broke a Guinness World Record for the most people simultaneously sleeping over around the globe.
We slept over in the church lounge and then up in the morning for the Minty Mouth Challenge. We have a certificate to prove the records were broken.
We have so much fun that this is now an annual event. We will take part in this again next year.
We usually have a couple of trips out during the year. So far this year we have been on 2 trips to Adventure Island in Southend having great fun on all the rides. We have something else planned for later in the year. Last year we went to Clacton where we had a great time on the beach (we even went in the sea) and the rides on the Pier (especially the bumper cars!). This year the older girls are going on a Girls’ Brigade Camp from 3rd-8th August to Skreens Park, Chelmsford and I’m sure we’ll have a great time.
